Position Overview

Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious law firm in California to find an experienced Legal Assistant for a part-time position. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to contribute to a dynamic legal team while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to attorneys and paralegals.
  • Preparing and proofreading legal documents and correspondence.
  • Organizing and maintaining files and records, both physical and electronic.
  • Assisting with scheduling and coordinating meetings and court appearances.
  • Handling client inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Performing legal research and gathering relevant case information.
  • Supporting special projects and other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and processes.
  • Associates degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred.

Required Work Hours

This part-time position requires availability Monday through Friday. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.
